Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical institutions under the authority of the Artsakh Ministry of Health.

Artsakh Ministry of Health informs that 13 children are in intensive care and neonatal wards in “Arevik” Medical Association. The health condition of the 4-month-old baby, who was diagnosed with Visceral Leishmaniasis, remains critical. Artsakh doctors provide the necessary medical care by consulting with RA specialists online.

At the Republican Medical Center, 9 patients are in the intensive care unit, 2 of them are in critical condition, doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize the condition of the patients.

Artsakh Ministry of Health is taking all possible measures to properly overcome the situation created due to the blockade.
