1,100 civilians, including 270 minors, are unable to return to their homes due to the blocking of the Lachin Corridor

1100 civilians, 270 of whom are minors, are unable to return to their homes due to Azerbaijan’s blocking of the Lachin Corridor, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the outside world, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.

As a result of interaction with the Armenian government, the Syunik Marzpetal Office and the Goris Municipality, they took shelter in the Syunik Marz, and some of them took shelter in the villages of the Berdadzor sub-district of the Shushi region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs officers serving the area are in constant contact with the citizens. With this kind of provocation, Azerbaijan continues to violate the rights of free movement, proper medical assistance and other humanitarian rights of thousands of citizens.
