Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan presented data on the situation with Armenian trucks in Lars.
“In the first ten days of December 2022, about 2,037 trucks left from Armenia to EAEU countries through Upper Lars, and 2,821 such trucks from Georgia passed through Upper Lars, that is, the number of trucks with Armenian cargo in Georgia decreased by 800 and now amount to about 1,700 trucks. At that time, about 2,071 cars with cargo entered Armenia and the queues in the flow to Armenia are insignificant.
The capacity of the Upper Lars has increased as a result of the expansion works being carried out there.
According to the data, now the trucks spend about six days in Georgia,” the Minister said.
