On 3 December, Syunik Marz Governor Robert Ghukasyan received the delegation headed by Igor Maslov, Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Interregional Relations and Cultural Contacts with Foreign Countries, which included Deputy Head of the Department A. L. Rybakov, Head of Humanitarian Programs Coordination Department V. V. Chernyshov, and other representatives.

Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin, head of Kapan community Gevorg Parsyan, GeoProMining President Roman Khudoli and members of the management team of the company, director of “Moscow House” center in Yerevan Vahram Karapetyan were also present at the meeting.
The visit was informative and aimed to consider the possibilities of strengthening educational, cultural, scientific and technical, inter-regional ties with the region in the future.
The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to cooperation in the mentioned fields, emphasizing the exchange of experience of specialists and students, the implementation of joint educational programs.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached regarding further cooperation and developing joint programs through professional groups to be formed on both sides.
