Within the framework of the 43rd session of the Francophonie Ministerial Conference, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Milkov.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Nikolay Milkov highly assessed the level of Armenian-Bulgarian relations based on historical ties and common values ​​and expressed readiness for further development of bilateral multi-sectoral cooperation. In this regard, the importance of regular high-level official mutual visits was noted.

The Foreign Ministers also noted the importance of expanding cooperation within the framework of international organizations, including further deepening the effective interaction established between the two countries within the framework of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

During the meeting, issues of regional security and stability were also discussed. Ararat Mirzoyan presented to his interlocutor the situation in the South Caucasus, the consequences of the latest Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia.
