Memorandum signed between the Parliaments of Georgia and Armenia

Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, hosted Eduard Aghajanyan, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, according to “Alik Media”,  the Parliament of Georgia informs.

It is noted that the parties talked about the strengthening of relations between the two countries in different directions.

Attention was paid to the deepening of cooperation between the foreign relations committees of the legislative bodies of the two countries, which was confirmed by the signing of the memorandum of cooperation.

Regional security issues were also discussed. Aafter the meeting, the Chairmen of the Foreign Relations Committee issued a joint statement.

According to Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, the signed memorandum will raise the parliamentary cooperation between the committees to a new level and give it an institutional look.
