RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed his condolences to his Turkish counterpart on his Twitter microblog in connection with the explosion in Istanbul .

“I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the deadly explosion in Istanbul, and wish a speedy recovery the injured,” he wrote and mentioned Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

Let’s remind that on 13 November, a powerful explosion thundered in Istanbul’s Istiklal tourist street. The Turkish authorities consider the explosion in the center of Istanbul to be a terrorist attack, which, according to preliminary data, was carried out by a woman. Turkey’s Vice President Fuat Oktay said that the number of victims under the state of emergency has reached 81, and the condition of two people is serious.
