Azerbaijan is constructing military roads, positions, bunkers, buildings, etc., in the occupied territories of Armenia in the immediate vicinity of Jermuk city from September 13-14, 2022.

Arman Tatoyan announced this today, on 10 November, during the press conference and presented the results of the fact-finding activities of the Center for Law and Justice “Tatoyan” Foundation.

Azerbaijani armed forces are keeping under direct target the city of Jermuk, the Jermuk Hydro Power Plant, pastures, grasslands, arable lands, water reservoirs. This is confirmed by the evidence we have verified. They are currently located in Archisar and other places.

I detailed that the military roads are being built by the Azerbaijani armed forces in the territories of RA, occupied in September 2022. They bring stones from mines and other different places, grind them, fill them on the road, and then mix them with cement or other materials so that the roads leading to their newly constructed positions are comfortable. It is obvious that they are preparing for winter.

Moreover, these roads are 10-12 meters wide.

All this proves that the Azerbaijani armed forces have no intention of leaving either the occupied territories of Armenia or positions near our villages and roads.

After all this, only a naive person can think that Azerbaijan is preparing for peace with Armenia. I am sure that if this peace document is signed under these conditions, this document will not work.

I repeat again that our primary goal should be to remove the Azerbaijani armed forces not only from our occupied territories but also from the positions near our villages and roads, where they appeared after the 2020 war.

Yes, my idea of a demilitarized security zone, that I raised right immediately after the war, in December 2020, is completely realistic.
