Three bodies were found in one of the houses in Pemzashen settlement of Artik enlarged community of Shirak marz, a mother with her two minor children.
On 9 November, around 12:25 p.m., the 911 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency situations received an alert that the duty team of doctors went to one of the houses in the village of Pemzashen, whose residents did not respond to door bell and phone calls.
The rescuers who arrived at the scene opened the door of the house and found 3 bodies on the floor.
Gurgen Grigoryan, the prosecutor of Shirak marz, said that there were cut and stubbed wounds on the bodies.
“According to preliminary data, the murders were committed with the use of a sharp cutting and stabbing tool. It is the same with the three bodies. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 155, Part 1 and Article 155, Part 2, Clause 5 of the RA Criminal Code, with the characteristics of murder, and murder of a minor. At the moment, operative investigative bodies are actively working at the scene,” the prosecutor said.
According to the information of the Prosecutor’s Office, the father of the family is working abroad.
“There is information that the father is not in the country, but at the moment everything is being checked,” the prosecutor noted, stressing that at the moment it is not clear when exactly the incident happened.
“Mother was working at Artik hospital. According to preliminary data, the colleagues worried that she did not appear at work. They tried to find out the reason from the neighbors. The neighbors, when seeing that the door of the house was not opened, called 911,” Gurgen Grigoryan explained.
