On 13 September, 2022, at around 12:30, the enemy surrounded with a large number of forces one of the combat positions of the defense zone of the N military unit and demanded the personnel to lay down their weapons and surrender.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reported.
Lieutenant Gevorg Karen Harutyunyan, in charge of the platoon’s base, and privet Hrayr Apres Nerkaryan, the senior of the position, assessing the situation and disobeying the enemy’s coercion, led the enemy astray with clever and skillful actions and got out of the siege.
