The Criminal Court Of Appeals rejected the appeal against the decision to keep the former Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, the former Chairman of the Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan in custody. Aghvan Hovsepyan will remain in custody.

Notably, during the preparation stage of the trial in the case of Aghvan Hovsepyan and Vrezh Markosyan, the defense side petitioned to apply bail to Hovsepyan, which was rejected by the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan, leaving Aghvan Hovsepyan’s detention unchanged.
