“Resistance” movement will gather on 01 July morning at the entrance of the National Assembly, on the side of Demirchyan street, Hovhannes Harutyunyan, the founder of the “Voice of the Youth” initiative, informs on his Facebook page.

“At 10:30 in the morning we gather at the entrance of the National Assembly, on the side of Demirchyan Street…” he wrote.

Notably, the NA “Civil Contract” Faction has submitted to the President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan drafts of the NA decisions on recalling National Assembly Deputy Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the position of Vice President of the National Assembly and terminating the powers of National Assembly Deputy Vahe Hakobyan as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs and asked to put the submitted draft decisions into circulation in the prescribed manner.

The Council of the National Assembly agreed to convene an extraordinary session of the National Assembly on 1 July, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., according to the agenda and time limit set by the initiator.
