According to Article 155, Part 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, Artur Davtyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, resigned on 27 June.

Pursuant to Article 155, Part 2 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, if the deputy does not withdraw his/her application on resignation, a record shall be made on the discontinuation of his/her powers, which shall be signed and promulgated by the Chairperson of the National Assembly.

The resignation shall be deemed as adopted from the moment of the promulgation of the report.

It should be noted that Artur Davtyan was nominated by the Supreme Judicial Council as a candidate for a judge in the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the Court of Cassation.
