The head of the NA “Civil Contract” Fction Hayk Konjoryan confirmed that the candidate for the Prosecutor General of the parliamentary majority is Anna Vardapetyan.
It should be reminded that since 2 March, 2020, she has been holding the position of Assistant to the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“Ms. Vardapetyan, with her professional qualities, high moral and value features, meets both the requirements set by the legislation and the most important mission, which, in our opinion, the future RA Prosecutor General should have,” he noted.
Konjoryan mentioned that not nominating the incumbent Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan for the second time is the decision of the political team.
