The 2 lawsuits on confiscation of property of illicit origin submitted to the Court of First Instance of the city of Yerevan were accepted for proceedings.
The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office filed a lawsuit with the court to confiscate from the former director of “Yerevan Metro after K. Demirchyan” CJSC Paylak Yayloyan and 5 affiliated family members, in favor of the Republic of Armenia,.
- 7 apartments located in different addresses of Yerevan, the property located in Arinj community of Kotayk region (in some cases 84-94% of them), and in case of impossibility, the average market value of those properties – 702.472.355 AMD,
- 2 plots of land located in Jrvezh community of Kotayk region (one partial), the parking lot on Proshyan Street in Yerevan, The 2 buildings located on Proshyan Street and on Baghramyan avenue in Yerevan, and in case of impossibility, the average market value of these properties – a total of 535,699,753 AMD.
- 3 movable property (cars, 79.47% of one of them), in case of impossibility, the average market value of these properties – a total of 27,745,000 AMD.
- Shares of 2 LLCs: 84.92%; 1/2 shares in one case, 50% shares in the other,
- 29,847,801 AMD as the purchase amount of the liquidated CJSC share,
- Total 272,240,034 AMD, which is not justified by the legal income of Yayloyan and his two sons, has an illicit origin and is not possible to confiscate, because it was transferred to a bona fide acquirer or it is not possible to identify and confiscate.
As a result of the research conducted in the Department of Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, the process of filing lawsuits for confiscation of property of illicit origin continues.
