Against the background of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, the work of Azerbaijani websites / telegram channels is more than anti-Russian propaganda. Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the “With Honor” Faction of the National Assembly, wrote on his Facebook page.
“Especially if you take into account the affiliation or direct subordination of those platforms to various state structures or representatives of the ruling elite, the picture becomes clearer.
Hatred towards Russian servicemen, sarcasm, cynicism, insulting remarks about killed / wounded / captured servicemen show that large-scale hostility towards Russians is generated inside Azerbaijan.
It is clear that the Russian side is fixing all this, but it is not clear yet when the Russian countermeasures will be used.
It is still necessary to understand, analyze how these and other phenomena will affect the Russian-Azerbaijani relations after the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
This is possible for Armenia not only taking into account the allied relations with Russia, but also the key role of Russia in the processes of Armenia-Azerbaijan and Artsakh.
“In any case, any development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations will have an impact on our region,” he said.
