Within the framework of the criminal case initiated under Article 373, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code, investigative-judicial actions are being carried out in the Ninth Garrison Investigation Division of the Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out the circumstances of Samvel Sedrak Saneyan’s death.

The Investigative Committee reported.

According to preliminary data, on 28 April, 2022, at around 7:20 pm, Samvel Sanyan was fatally wounded as a result of violating the rules of use of a weapon by a conscript in the combat position of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense.

Investigation is underway.

Note: A person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent until his/her guilt is proved by a court judgment that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code.
