Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan has is arrested within the framework of the criminal case being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee. Spokeswoman for the Anti-Corruption Committee Marina Ohanjanyan told Iravaban.net, adding that she could not provide any other details at the moment

․As we reported earlier, on 28 March, law enforcement officers conducted a search in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It should be noted that on 28 March, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision granting the Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan a leave of absence for 14 working days, from 28 March to 14 April, 2022. According to the decision, Andranik Piloyan will be replaced by First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan during his vacation.
