President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan convened an enlarged meeting of the Security Council. The Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President reported.

“Minister of Defense of the Artsakh Republic Kamo Vardanyan delivered a report on the recent military-political developments in the country.

The Head of state once again noted that ensuring stability in the Republic is on the agenda of the Artsakh authorities. According to the President, with the help of the Artsakh Armed Forces and the Russian peacekeeping troops, as well as possible diplomatic mechanisms, all efforts are being made to ensure peace and return the Azeri troops to their starting positions from the eastern part of the line of contact.

During the meeting, President Harutyunyan gave a number of instructions on the organization of the country’s defense and cooperation between law enforcement agencies,” the statement reads.
