Judge Danibekyan again did not allow Armen Gevorgyan to leave the country. The advocacy group of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan made a statement about this.
The trial on the alleged bribery case continued today in the Court of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan (Shengavit residence).
Lusine Sahakyan lawyer of the member of the NA “Armenia” Faction Armen Gevorgyan petitioned the court to allow Gevorgyan to be absent from the country from April 6 to April 9 to travel to Rome to participate in the sitting of the PACE Committee on Children and Social Affairs. Hybrid participation is not provided in this case, and Gevorgyan cannot participate remotely.
The defense joined the motion, and the accusing prosecutors objected, reminding that the court had previously rejected Gevorgyan’s similar motions.
Judge Danibekyan rejected the motion, not allowing Gevorgyan to leave for Rome.
