The Road Department Fund informs that as of 09:00 on 22 March, Vardenyats mountain pass, Gndevaz-Jermuk, Ttujur-Navur, Alaverdi-Jiliza, Torosgyugh-Ashotsk-Bavra are closed for all types of vehicles due to lack of visibility.
Vorotan mountain pass (Saravan- “Zanger”), Noyemberyan-Ijevan, Vanadzor-Dilijan, Vanadzor-Alaverdi highways, Stepanavan bends are closed for vehicles with trailers, and are difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.
The Vanadzor-Stepanavan section is closed for vehicles with trailers.
Alagyaz-Artik, Kapan-Tatev roads are impassable for all types of vehicles.
It is snowing in Ashotsk and Vayk regions.
The roads of Goris region, Martuni-Gavar and Martuni-Vardenis sections are icy in places.
The other interstate and national highways are open.
Road builders are cleaning the roads and working with salt and sand.
To avoid accidents and traffic jams, drivers are advised to use only winter tires.
