On March 21, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan D.A. Bayramov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation informs․
A wide range of issues of bilateral relations was discussed, including the implementation of the provisions of the agreement signed on 22 February this year.
An exchange of views took place on a number of regional and international issues. The ministers reviewed the implementation of the key provisions of the top-level tripartite agreements of 9 November, 2020, 11 January and 26 November, 2021, as well as the issue of concluding a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
A “clock check” was carried out on the further work of the Consultative Regional Platform “3 + 3” (Azerbaijan – Armenia – Georgia + Russia – Iran – Turkey). The heads of foreign affairs agencies touched upon the situation around Ukraine as well.
