The Shirak Marz Administration has issued an announcement, which states:

“As a result of the strong wind that started from the previous day and continues till now, destructions have taken place in a number of settlements of Shirak region. In particular, an alarm was received from Tavshut, Ghazanchi, Arpeni, Goghovit, Torosgyugh settlements of Ashotsk community. In Torosgyugh the roof of the school, in the settlements of Arpeni and Ghazanch the roofs of the houses of culture were damaged, in the mentioned settlements the roofs of a number of houses and auxiliary buildings were damaged, as well, and also solar photovoltaic stations.

In particular, an alarm was received from Tavshut, Ghazanchi, Arpeni, Goghovit, Torosgyugh settlements of Ashotsk community. In Torosgyugh the roofs of the school, in the settlements of Arpen-Ghazanch the roofs of the houses of culture were damaged, in the mentioned settlements the roofs of a number of houses-auxiliary buildings, solar photovoltaic stations were also damaged.

“On the instructions of Shirak Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the officials of the regional administration are in operative contact with the heads of all communities, representatives of the responsible subdivisions, in order to provide the necessary assistance and keep the situation under control,” the statement reads.
