We strongly condemn the event held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s membership in the UN in the city of Shushi occupied by Azerbaijan.

The State Minister of the Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan stated.

“We condemn even more the visit of the UN representatives to the occupied Shushi and participation in the Azerbaijani provocation.

And the overly humane and value-minded UN officials are doing this provocation under the following conditions:

1. Not a single UN official has ever visited Artsakh in order to ascertain and prevent the war, post-war suffering and Azerbaijani atrocities.
2. 40,000 displaced, of which 5,000 Shushi residents are deprived of their homes and many other rights, and the UN continues the Azerbaijani policy of isolating Artsakh.
3. On the same days, the only gas pipeline in Artsakh was damaged in the same Shushi, and the Azerbaijani side deliberately delayed the restoration, causing additional suffering for 100,000 people, and the UN was silent.
