Security Council of Artsakh Republic has issued a statment which reads:

“On some informational sites and pages on social networks, information is disseminated that “self-defense units” are being created in certain communities of the Republic.

We declare that the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh, together with the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation, is fully fulfilling the tasks assigned to it. Information about the formation of additional structures is disinformation to the extent that in practice there is no need to form such detachments.

We urge the public not to succumb to attempts to impose disinformation and to follow only official information.”
