State Minister of the Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan wrote on his Facebook page:

“In recent days, due to the busy situation in the world around Ukraine and especially in Russia, the provocations and threats carried out by Azerbaijan against the peaceful population of Artsakh have sharply increased.

1. They hinder agricultural work in the fields near the front line by shooting and other means.
2. They have been firing large-caliber weapons at our settlements for several days, and yesterday in the village of Khramort, 50-year-old Suren Baghryan, who was doing agricultural work in the yard of his house, was wounded with a grenade.
3. On the night of 8 March, the only gas pipeline entering Artsakh exploded in the area under their control. Russian peacekeepers and our representatives are still not allowed to approach the pipeline and restore the gas supply.

We, in cooperation with the Russian peacekeepers continue negotiations for a peaceful settlement. At the same time, we are taking preventive measures to ensure the safety of our population.

“Azerbaijan must urgently stop the reckless behavior against the peaceful population of Artsakh.”
