Honored cultural figure, writer, prose writer, publicist Alvard Petrosyan died of a long-term serious illness at the age of 76. One of the relatives of the family informed.
Alvard Bardugh Petrosyan was born on 4 October, 1946 in Yerevan.
She has been a member of the USSR Writers’ Union since 1978.
She studied at the school after Shirvanzade, in 1968 graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Yerevan State University.
1969-1975 Worked as an editor in the State Committee of Television and Radio.
1975-1979 She worked in the “Hayastani Ashkhatavoruhi” magazine.
1980-1981 She worked in the Committee on Cultural Relations with the Diaspora.
1982-1990 – Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “Soviet Literature” (“Nork”) literary-artistic magazine.
1990-1994 – Editor-in-Chief of “Aragast” weekly.
Since 2007 She has been an honored cultural figure of the Republic of Armenia.
