The photo of Hrach Manasaryan, a contract soldier who was fatally wounded by the Azerbaijani armed forces on 7 March, was published on the Facebook page of Goris Municipality today.

“The soldier who died in Yeraskh today was from Akner settlement of Goris community.

33-year-old Hrach Manasaryan was a contract soldier. He had two minor children.

“Another son of Goris went to eternity,” the publication reads.

Former Deputy Mayor of Goris Irina Yolyan mentioned on her Facebook page that Hrach Manasaryan was a participant in the 44-day war.

It should be reminded that earlier the RA Ministry of Defense informed that on 7 March, at around 12:40 pm, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on the Armenian military positions located in the western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as a result of which two servicemen of the RA Armed Forces received gunshot wounds. One of them, Sergeant Hrach Aram Manasaryan, a contract soldier of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, died on the way to the hospital.

The life of the other wounded soldier is not in danger.
