The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed, difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

In Aragatsotn Marz, the roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

Vardenyats mountain pass is closed for all types of vehicles.

The Saravan-Zanger highway is difficult to pass (it is a snowstorm).

It is snowing in Alagyaz region of Aragatsotn Marz and in Jermuk city of Vayots Dzor Marz.

In Vayots Dzor Marz, on the Sevan-Martuni highway of Gegharkunik Marz, in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, and Talin of Aragatsotn Marz (there is a snowstorm) there is black ice in some places.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles. There are about 475 trucks on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
