At the 3 March sitting of the Government, an appointment will be made.
Melikset Poghosyan will be relieved of the post of Governor of Syunik Marz of the Republic of Armenia. Robert Ghukasyan, who was the Prime Minister’s advisor, will be appointed the new Governor. He was relieved of this post by Nikol Pashinyan’s March 3 decision .
Melikset Poghosyan was appointed Governor on 8 December, 2020.
Robert Ghukasyan was appointed to the post of Advisor to the Prime Minister on 20 August, 2019.
