Recognition of Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics is not on the agenda of Armenia. RA Foreign Ministry Spokesman Vahan Hunanyan said this in response to the question of “Armenpress”

Question. What is Armenia’s position on the developments in Russian-Ukrainian relations?

Answer: We surely want the existing issues between the two friendly states to be resolved through diplomatic dialogue, negotiations, and in accordance with the norms and principles of international law and the UN Charter. We hope for the necessary steps to be undertaken towards reducing the tension and resolving the situation peacefully.

Question. Do you consider the recognition of the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk by the Republic of Armenia possible?

Answer: There is no such issue in the agenda․
