Maria Karapetyan, a member of the “Civil Contract” faction chairing the sitting of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan, said in her speech that after the 44-day war, Armenia has chosen to overcome the internal political crisis through snap elections.

According to her, the ruling political force speaks of the rule of law in domestic politics and the establishment of peace in foreign policy. In the latter process, the re-launching of means of communication is considered a priority, not only in terms of roads, but also in terms of safety.

“We believe that mutual dependence will help us solve problems more effectively,” Maria Karapetyan stated.

According to the “Civil Contract” deputy, the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia must leave the border in a mirror way in order to carry out the process of demarcation and demarcation.

Karapetyan stated that the Artsakh issue is not resolved and the Armenian side will involve international forces in resolving the issue in order to achieve long-term peace in the region.

Maria Karapetyan noted that Armenia also attaches importance to the opening of the border with Turkey, which was closed by Turkey.
