The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a statement, according to which the units of the Defense Army opened fire on the Azerbaijani positions located in the vicinity of the villages of Shosh and Taghavard on 20 and 21 February. Artsakh Ministry of Defense reported.

“The facts stated in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan are completely false. The ceasefire was actually violated by the Azerbaijani units in the mentioned area, opening irregular fire in the direction of the Defense Army positions. There are no casualties due to the ceasefire violation.

The fact of violation of the ceasefire by Azerbaijani units was reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops,” the statement said.
