“Additional facts will be gathered about the problems caused to the people by the incursions of the Azerbaijani armed forces, by criminal acts (from the inaccessibility of water to the loss of grasslands and pastures).
The selection of the villages is conditioned by the alarms received by the Gegharkunik subdivision of the RA Human Rights Defender’s Office.
“It should be reminded that in order to guarantee the security of the people of Armenia, the RA Human Rights Defender proposed to create a demilitarized [security] zone around the borders of Armenia until the end of delimitation and demarcation with Azerbaijan,” he said.
