The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed, difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
In Aragatsotn Marz, the roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and Lake Kari are closed.
Vardenyats mountain pass (snow) is closed for trucks with trailers, difficult to pass for other vehicles.
In case of using chains, the section called Saravan–”Zanger” is open for trucks with a trailer.
Tigranashen bends (snow) and the roads of Syunik Marz are icy in places.
It is snowing in Kotayk Marz, Jermuk of Vayots Dzor Marz and Ashtarak of Aragatsotn Marz.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
