The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed, difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The road leading from Amberd fortress to Kari Lake in Aragatsotn Marz is closed.

Vardenyats mountain pass is difficult for trucks with trailers.

The Amasia-Bavra highway of Shirak Marz is difficult to pass.

The roads of Syunik Marz are icy in places.

It is snowing in Jermuk town of Vayots Dzor Marz, Hrazdan town of Kotayk Marz, and in Fantan village.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia ից from the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is  closed for  trucks. There are about 50 accumulated trucks on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
