Kazakhstan is ready to discuss the issue of providing a coronavirus vaccine to Armenia

On 21 January, the RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev.

The Ministry of Health reported.

Both sides assessed the cooperation between the countries as successful, the development of long-term relations and the continuous intensification of bilateral ties.

The Minister referred to the situation caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, the outbreak of a new wave with harmful consequences, preventive measures against the spread of the epidemic and the active process of vaccination.

Bolat Imanbayev thanked his Armenian colleagues for properly organizing the work against the COVID-19 epidemic in Armenia, as well as for responding quickly to the problems that arose.

“I attach great importance to the Armenian-Kazakh partnership, which will further strengthen the bilateral friendly relations on the path of new perspectives, new opportunities and implementation of joint programs,” said Anahit Avanesyan.

Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev said that Kazakhstan already has a production of vaccine against COVID-19 and expressed readiness to discuss the possibility of providing it to Armenia.
