The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

In Aragatsotn Marz, the road leading from Amberd fortress to Kari Lake and Vardenyats mountain pass are closed.

Kuchak-Tsaghkashen roads of Syunik Marz, Aragatsotn Marz, Yeghnajur-Zarishat road of Shirak Marz, and Spitak bends of Lori Marz are closed for trucks.

The roads of Gegharkunik Maez, Aparan and Aragats regions of Aragatsotn Marz, Tigranashen bends of Ararat Marz  are icy in places.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
