The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

In Aragatsotn Marz, the road leading from Amberd fortress to Kari Lake and Vardenyats mountain pass are closed.

All the highways of Syunik Mraz are difficult to pass.

 In the bends of Dilijan, the roads of Syunik, Aragatsotn and Shirak Marzes are icy in places.

It is snowing in Yerevan, Vayots Dzor, Ararat, Syunik and Kotayk Marzes  .

There is  a snowstorm in the section called Saravan – “Zanger”, in the Aparan region of Aragatsotn Marz, on the 24-39th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, and on the Lanjik-Mastara highway,.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for trucks.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
