The Right of Legal Protection of Prosecutors

In the performance of their work, prosecutors shall be independent and shall abide only by law. A prosecutor may not be dismissed from his position, with the exception of cases and in the procedure stipulated by the Constitution and the Law.
Creating obstacles to the performance of a prosecutor’s official duties, insulting a prosecutor in connection with his work, or encroaching or threatening to encroach on his or his family members’ life, health, or property shall give rise to liability prescribed by law. A prosecutor may not be apprehended without the Prosecutor General’s consent, with the exception of cases in which a prosecutor is apprehended on the basis of a judicial act. Criminal prosecution in relation to a prosecutor may be instigated by the Prosecutor General or his Deputies.
