The criminal prosecution against Navasard Archbishop Kchoyan was terminated on the grounds of acquittal.

It is about one of the well-known scandalous cases revealed years ago, the Cyprus offshore case, in the framework of which the name of former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan were mentioned.

Businessman Paylak Hayrapetyan accused them of depriving him of his property. Businessman Ashot Sukiasyan was involved in this case as a defendant, he mentioned during one of the court hearings that Navasard Kchoyan is his godfather.
