Information has been spread that Armen Charchyan will renounce the parliamentary mandate. The deputy’s lawyer Erik Aleksanyan referred to this news․

“I want to inform the public that this information does not correspond to reality. Professor Armen Charchyan is not going to renounce the mandate. He is currently in hospital to stabilize the deteriorating health condition during his imprisonment,” he wrote.
