The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-pass highways in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
The road leading from Amberd fortress to Kari Lake in Aragatsotn region is closed.
From M-1 highway of Shirak region to Musayelyan, Krasar villages and Amasia-Berdashen highways are difficult to pass.
Vardenyats mountain pass (in case of using chains) is difficult for trucks with trailers.
The roads of Artik-Alagyaz, as well as Syunik, Aragatsotn, Lori and Shirak marzes are icy in places.
It is snowing in Syunik marz (except for Sisian city).

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
