The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed, difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The road leading from Amberd fortress to Kari Lake in Aragatsotn region is closed.

From M-1 highway of Shirak region to Musayelyan, Krasar villages and Amasia-Berdashen highways are difficult to pass.

Vardenyats mountain pass is difficult to pass, and for trucks with trailers it is necessary to use tire chains.

The Saravan-Zanger, Vayots Dzor, Aragatsotn, Lori and Shirak regions, Artik-Alagyaz highways are icy in places.

 There is a snowstorm in Shinuhayr village of Syunik region.

The Saravan-Saralanj section of the Vayots Dzor region (158th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway) is closed due to traffic jams.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
