On 13 January, President Armen Sarkssian signed a decree, which reads:

“Based on the mediation of the Prime Minister, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, Parts 1 and 9 of the Law on State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia,

For the courage and unwavering devotion shown in defending the borders of the Motherland, posthumously award the following servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia with the Combat Service Medal.

Rudik Rafik GHARIBYAN, commander of squad, junior sergeant of N military unit,

Vahan Vachagan BABAYAN, conscript, soldier of N military unit,

Artur Artyom MKHITARYAN, conscript, soldier of N military unit.”
