The sitting was chaired by the Chairman of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan.
Russian Defense Minister, General of the Army Sergey Shoigu, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Victor Khrenin, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Murat Bektanov, Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Baktibek Bekbolotov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General Sherali Mirzo, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, CSTO Deputy Secretary General Takhir Khairuloev and Commander of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel-General Andrey Serdyukov took part in the event.
