A round-the-clock work of the CSTO Crisis Response Center has been deployed, providing video-conference communication with the defense departments of the Organization’s countries, the headquarters noted.
Since the beginning of the aggravation of the situation in Kazakhstan, the joint headquarters of the CSTO has been transferred to an enhanced mode of operation. “In order to fulfill peacekeeping tasks, the CSTO Joint Headquarters is coordinating interaction between the CSTO Crisis Response Center, the command post of the Collective Peacekeeping Zio of the CSTO, the ministries of defense of the CSTO member states,” the organization said.
It was also added that the interaction with the defense departments on the organization of material and technical support, the deployment of military contingents of the CSTO countries and the replenishment of the necessary funds is under special control.
