The MP of the “Civil Contract” Faction of the National Assembly Arsen Torosyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots,

In 2021 we have left one unfinished task, which we must continue in 2022 so that we do not have heavy waves again instead of the relatively satisfactory situation today. Of course, we are talking about coronavirus vaccinations.

Unfortunately, we still have the lowest rate of all our neighbors and in the wider region, with 23% fully vaccinated and 31% vaccinations with dose (data may be 2-3 days old).

Please, I call on all our unvaccinated citizens to be VACCINATED. The Ministry of Health and the Government has provided a variety of safe and effective vaccines in the country, which are provided completely free of charge. I also call on the citizens who have been vaccinated for more than 6 months to receive their third dose (boosters), so that their protection against the disease remains strong.

We have all witnessed how our unvaccinated relatives or close ones get the disease seriously or die unfortunately because of it, despite receiving the highest quality medical care. It has been proved all over the world that evidence has been brought many times. I do not want to touch upon them again.

It is possible to remember the exhaustion of our healthcare system, which has been working in an emergency mode for almost 2 years, especially the covid hospitals. This is also a problem that must be solved by changing the regime of work of the system, when all the hospitals will treat covid as needed, they will not stop providing their basic services.”
