The RA Ministry of Defense informs that on 31 December, 2021, at around 10:50, in one of the military bases of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense located in Vayots Dzor marz, a conscript of the same military unit, Movses Aramayis Tadevosyan (born in 2003) was found with a gunshot wound to the head. Private Tadevosyan died on the way to the hospital.
As a result of the operative actions carried out in connection with the incident, the colleague serviceman of the killed soldier was arrested on suspicion of committing the mentioned crime. An investigation is underway to fully find out the circumstances of the incident.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia shares the grief of the loss; expresses support to Movses Tadevosyan’s family members, relatives and colleagues.
