Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook page,

“The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.

A number of issues were discussed, including the urgency of the return of Armenian captives held in Azerbaijan.

The Defender noted the effective cooperation with the Russian Embassy in Armenia, thanked for the established joint work on the operative exchange of information on the protection of the rights of our compatriots in Russia.

The Human Rights Defender also praised the high-level relations with the Federal Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova, based on full mutual trust.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation and exchange of information in the field of human rights.”
